Geocache Description:

This puzzle cache starts at Hampton Loade Signal box. It starts here because I am a Lady Signalman!

 ME!!!

Here is the Wiki page for this signal box : https://www.svrwiki.com/Hampton_Loade_signal_box

This is also an interesting read: https://www.svrwiki.com/Single_line_working_using_tokens

In simple terms the row of levers in  signal box do different things. Some levers move the signals that tell trains information about whether the station is clear and whether they can enter the station and leave the station. Some levers move the tracks so that the train moves onto a different section of track and some levers lock those moving sections of track in place. In some boxes there are levers (known as King levers) that take the box in and out of the working line meaning in effect that the box doesn't exist.

The token machines (as seen below) let signalmen take tokens out to give to the drivers to say that the next section of line is clear. You can only get one token out at once. Signalmen need to communicate with the signalman at the other end of the line to get confirmation that the section of track is clear. To do this they push the button to ring a bell in a pattern, a bit like morse code. Each bell code has a different meaning.

You will need to answer the questions below to work out the co ordinates of where the actual geocache is.

Unfortunately the railway rules mean that you shouldn't be going into the signal box itself (which I was hoping for) but you can find all of the information online.

A = How many KING levers are there? (tswitch the box in and out of the working line)
B = How many point levers are there? (Levers that move the track)
C = How many levers move the signals?
D = How many levers lock the points on the track so that they can’t move?
E = Which number lever changes the point nearest Bridgnorth ?
F = What is the bell code for train entering section?
G = What is the bell code for obstruction danger?

The geocache location is: N052 D(C-A).B(C-A)D W002 DD.EF(G-A)
