This cache is in the Bilberry Creek Ravine Park. The trails are not groomed and can be very icy and slippery in the spring. It is a relatively easy walk in the summer and through most of the winter.
The ravine is home to many species of wildlife: deer, raccoons, rabbits, fox, skunks, porcupine, beaver, and even coyotes. If you listen closely, you may hear the tell-tale call of a barred owl or the tapping of a Hairy, Downy, or Pileated Woodpecker.
Take your time while you are here; enjoy the walk and environment, and be sure to hit the other caches that are in the area.
The park is designated as an off-leash area for dogs; however, because of the coyotes, please keep a close eye on your pet.
