This cache is completely out in the open and can be spotted easily. This is a gadget cache, where the objective isn't to find it; it is to open it. You'll need to solve a field puzzle gadget, which will unlock the cache. You do NOT need to force it open, as that would break the cache. The cache will let you know when it is unlocked. If the cache is not locked when you're ready to leave, plug the battery back in for a few seconds.
Prop the cache open while you're working on the log! If you do not, you'll need to start over, and I do mean start over...
