Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Turtley Awesome Pet Geocaching Series!  We created this series of 6 geocaches in honor of our 6th anniversary together and to celebrate our fur babies.  These geocaches are placed in parks around the Richmond area that have a special connection to us and our fur babies.  Each cache in this series has been stocked with turtle and pet related swag and at least one Travel Bug that is ready to go explore the world.  Also, there is $1.00 in quarters for the First To Find!  Two of the quarters will be from the National Park Series corresponding to the year that we're commemorating in the cache.  The other two quarters will be from the U.S. State Quarters series and represents 2 of the states that we traveled to in that particular year.

Cezar is the third cache in this series.  This cache was relocated from Rockwood Park to Robious Landing Park due to it being lost to muggles after only 4 days. Cezar loved to play in the James River, including jumping from a boat into the water, so this is a great park to honor him in. Robious Landing Park offers a great view of the James River along with non-motorized boat slide access and fishing. There are 3.4 miles of trails for hiking and geocaching. Cezar the Rottweiler passed away in 2016 at age 9.

You are looking for a medium lock and lock that is just a short distance from the trail. The cache shares a spot with a letterbox, but is clearly marked and labeled as a geocache. The reason that this cache is located in the same spot as someone else's letterbox (not affiliated with geocaching.com) is because there was literally no other spot to hide it in this 102 acre park that contains 5 other traditional caches and 1 mystery cache. Everyplace that we hid it got rejected due to proximity to the final coordinates of the mystery cache. With the help of the reviewer at geocaching.com we landed in this tiny window of space that just so happens to have a letterbox in it. Since it is not affiliated with geocaching.com we were able to make the hide here. Park is open 5AM to 9PM daily.
