Windmont Park is a peaceful setting to enjoy the view. Scattered throughout the 20-acre site are benches, swings, and shelters to gather with friends and family picnicking fun. Trees align the pond where fish are abundant for the fisherman. Exercise enthusiasts often are seen using the walk/run/workout stations around the 20-acre site. Families are drawn to the playgrounds, tennis courts and softball field for family outings. Kids of all ages, traverse the iron footbridge across the pond and watch as the fountain shoots water adding a finishing touch to the scene. The fishing dock is handicap accessible. State of Illinois fishing regulations apply.
