This cache is placed in honour of a good friend of mine who passed away in 2018. We had lots of fun times together, mainly mountain biking and drinking excellent beer. This was one of the tracks he really liked to ride, so I thought it only fitting to bring others here to make this wee loop, enjoy the views and just soak in some life.
Most of our rides would end with us knocking back a couple of well-earned cold ones. Ken used to say that we were living through a "Golden Age of Craft Beer in New Zealand." How right he was!
