I have always liked looking out for these barn quilts while out for a drive or caching along the back roads, it kind of makes the drive a little more pleasant in
HURON COUNTY.
As they have been adding new exhibits over the years, upgrading the facilities to bring collectors and their treasures to tell stories. The Memorial Shed was built to honor the members of the past. The quilt was chosen for this reason and the logo was added to represent the club.
IPM 2017 is where the barn quilt craze mainly started in Huron County as a contest.
Barn quilts originally started there roots in Ohio.
Barn quilts tell stories.
The proper size for a barn quilt is 8'x8'.
They draw motorists to our rural highways, roads that have many stories to tell.
Barn Quilts are rural graffiti – civic art about sacred places, battlefields, and historic locations.

ABSOLUTELY NO NIGHT CACHING, RESPECT THE NEARBY HOMEOWNERS. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH QUITE A FEW OF THEM AND ASSURED THEM THAT THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN.
