Geocache Description:

Little Jost Van Dyke is no longer populated, but has a very cute beach bar on it! You can easily come here by boat & take a ball in the mooring field.
History tells us this little island used to be inhabited by people making charcoal for the plantations. On the North West side there used to be a bar and possibly at one time a brothel, hidden from view. This has long been derelict.
The cache itself is a short hike through the scrub to the large rocky outcrop directly above the buildings on the beach. You should definately wear shoes for this one as there's loads of little cactus on the way up hoping to prickle your toes! So swim or dinghy ashore, go behind the bar & up the stairs and looking left you'll see a fence post, start your climb up the rocky goat path there. We've placed a few cairns on the way up to help you. Once at GZ have a look at the hint if you need help. It's an old sugar box with room for bugs & tradeables! Please remember to recover to keep this cache out of the sun!
As well as the little bar the snorkeling in this area is good, please take care to not touch or stand on the corals.
