Come see the sea stacks of San Josef Bay!
Start your journey at the Cape Scott parking lot and follow the trail to San Josef Bay. Once you hit the white sand beach, follow your GPS over to the sea stacks and the cache. The sea stacks were formed by thousands of years of ocean forces slowly wearing away at the softer rock layers. I highly suggest also doing the nearby earthcache while you're out here and learning more about these features.
The cache is hidden just above high tide level close to where the sea stacks start, but access to it may be tide dependant. It is best attempted at low tide to ensure you are able to reach the cache, plus so you can explore the area more easily. This cache is not on the sea stacks, so please do not disturb them while searching, especially the vegetation and shallow soils on top. You can find the cache hidden in an alcove of the headland rocks.
