This cache was placed to highlight a new Regional Park (Tolay Lake). It opened to the public on 10/27/2018.
Very near this location we spotted two Coyotes. One of them was about 1/4 mile away in the hills. The other one I came within 25 feet of before it ran off into the hills.
The strange name for this cache comes from a story my wife told me about her brother. Her baby brother had severe Colic and would cry all the time. Being only 3 years old she did not have a large vocabulary...but she did have a special word for her baby brother when she got annoyed by his crying. She would call him the Under Eyeodi Coyote. Eyeodi is now an official word in the Urban Dictionary.
