The suburb of Chapman is named after Sir Austin Chapman (1864-1926), member for Eden-Monaro (1901-1926) and held portfolios in the Deakin and Bruce governments. The street names in Chapman are themed on the Australian movie industry. As with all the suburbs of the Weston Creek district, Chapman also enjoys open urban spaces and neighbourhood parks. This little park is of particular appeal, themed as "Once upon a time....." It has a dragon, a castle, witches and faeries... and more. I really like it, with such a fun theme, appealing to all ages.
