The Aberdeenshire Mega Team would love for you to join us for Scotland's 3rd Mega, this time in the North East of the country in an area known as Royal Deeside.
On Mega Day there will be geocaching stalls, a pipe band, a Doric choir, meet and greet with our mascot Munro, children's entertainment, new caches, local produce and lots more!
To be held on the lawn of the stunning 16th century tower house, Crathes Castle.
A National Trust for Scotland property, Crathes offers 6 waymarked trails, an abundance of wildlife and a beautifully cared for walled garden to explore.

The team will also be putting on a wonderful range of side events from the 5th through to the 11th.
Camping is available from 5th August until the 12th August at another part of the Crathes Castle Estate, no more than 5 minutes walk from the main event. This is a large field away from public areas.
In line with National Trust for Scotland guidelines, there must be no open fires or charcoal BBQ's used. Gas camping stoves are allowed.
All pitches come with electric hookups and will be 10m x 10m. There will be toilets & showers (including disabled access) as well as washing up facilities available on the campsite
There will be committee members on site day and night throughout the week to help.

The nearest town to Crathes Castle is Banchory, which has a couple of good supermarkets and is about 2 miles away.
The venue is 18 miles from the City of Aberdeen. A local bus company runs from the city centre past the main entrance to Crathes Castle Estate throughout the day.
