Das Lichtkreuz kann von der kleinen Straße Pince Köz aus über einen Naturlehrpfad erreicht werden, der die Lebenswelt des Keszthelyer Gebirges vorstellt. Die Tafeln am Wegesrand informieren über die vielfältige Vegetation der Umgebung. Hier ist der Lebensraum von vielen seltenen Insekten- und Schmetterlingsarten. Gleichzeitig ist der Pfad ein Pilgerweg, der den Kreuzweg symbolisiert. Über 15 Stationen geht es den Berg hinauf zum Lichtkreuz. Von dort oben wird man mit einem wunderschönen Panorama über die Siedlung und über die Keszthelyer Bucht belohnt.
Allgemeine Informationen:
Die Initiative zur Errichtung von Lichtkreuzen (heute weltweit bekannt) ging am Tag der Jungfrau Maria von Grenoble aus. Das erste ungarische Lichtkreuz wurde in Debrecen errichtet. Die genauen Ausmaße sind: 7,38 m hoch, die waagerechten Arme je 1,23 m lang. Das Kreuz ist so zu errichten, dass die Arme in ost-westliche Richtung zeigen. Die Spitze des Kreuzes, das die Siedlung symbolisch beschützt, wird an drei Punkten mit blauem Licht erhellt, die Dreieinigkeit. Die vier weißen Lichter des unteren Teils bedeuten Auferstehung und Jesus, der die Verbindung zwischen Himmel und Erde symbolisiert.

A kereszt kellemes erdei sétával közelíthető meg a Pince köz felől. Utunk a Dolomit tanösvényen vezet, majd a 15 bibliai stációkat érintve érjük el. A táblák az út mentén tájékoztatják a terület változatos növényzetét. Itt található számos ritka rovar- és pillangófaj élőhelye. Ugyanakkor az út a kereszt útját (Via Dolorosa) szimbolizálja.
A települést szimbolikusan védő kereszt csúcsa három ponton kék fénnyel van kivilágítva – ez a Szentháromságot, az alsó rész négy fehér fénye a feltámadást és Jézust, mint az Ég és Föld összekötojét jelképezi. A kereszttől gyönyörű panoráma a település felett és a Keszthelyi-öböl felett tárul elénk.

Magassága 7,38 m, két vízszintes karja egyenként 1,23 m kelet-nyugati irányban mutasson.
Fényei szimbólikusak. Színezetében (észak-déli oldalán) a fehér a feltámadást, (kelet-nyugati oldalán) a kék pedig Mária iránti tiszteletet jelképezi. A kereszt csúcsa három ponton kék fénnyel van kivilágítva, amely a Szentháromságot, az alsó részén négy fehér fény pedig Jézust, mint az Ég és Föld összekötojét hirdeti.

The Cross of Light can be approached from Pince Köz via a nature trail that introduces the life of the Keszthely Hills. The panels along the way inform about the diverse vegetation in the area. Here is the habitat of many rare insect and butterfly species. On the dolomite of the Keszthely Hills we can find approximately 80 protected plant species and a large number of animals. At the same time, the path is a pilgrimage that symbolizes the Way of the Cross. About 15 stations, it goes up the mountain to the Cross of Light from where you will be rewarded with a beautiful panorama over the settlement and over the bay of Keszthely.
General information:
The initiative to set up a Cross of Light (nowadays known throughout the world) started off from Grenoble, on the festival of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The first Hungarian Light Cross was built in Debrecen. The exact dimensions are: 7.38 m high, the horizontal arms each 1.23 m long pointing in an east-west direction. The top of the cross, which symbolically protects the settlement, is illuminated in three points with blue light - that is the Trinity, the four white lights of the lower part signify resurrection, and Jesus symbolizes the connection between heaven and earth.
