Cachers have permission to poke around, however, THEY ASK THAT YOU DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOOK FOR THIS CACHE WHILE THERE IS A PICNIC IN PROGRESS. (mostly on summer weekends). These gatherings are private renters and we must respect the space they paid for. Thanks!
Cache container has only a log sheet so bring a pen/pencil. Sign it or take a picture of the log sheet and attach to your log if you are going to log as found. Please stay INSIDE the park grounds when looking.
This site was established in 1952 and has served our town well. Many functions are held here on a regular basis. The Grotto members raise money for worthy causes.
The "take 2" is because the original CO moved out of state and the CO who adopted it let it get archived after a message for a maintenance request went unanswered. I attempted messaging them, got no answer and was told by the reviewer that I would need to create a new cache so here we are. Originally hidden 08/03/2007 by the geopowells
Update 7/30/18 - ever since moving this out of the poison ivy area cachers are having trouble locating it. It is not on the restrooms. It is not in the weeds. You can stand in the grass when locating it. It is at eye level of an average human standing upright. The GPS signal may not be the best back here among the trees, stay north of the bathrooms.
