This cache is created in honor of the Hoops TB. It's mission was to go to ALL professional basketball stadiums in North America. Well, we don't have any current NBA teams in Baltimore, but the Baltimore Bullets called the Baltimore Civic Center home from 1963 to 1973, before moving and eventually becoming the Washington Wizzards.
The Baltimore Civic Center has been host to all varieties of entertainment. From The Beatles to Zeppelin, Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus to WWE, Disney on Ice to Monster Jam and the Harlem Globetrrotters, thousands of acts have graced the stage of this arena.
The Baltimore Arena has hosted professional games/matches of basketball, boxing, bull riding, football, hockey, tennis, lacrosse, soccer and more for over 60 years.
Speeches have been given by everyone from Martin Luther King Jr to Bernie Sanders, and Barack Obama.
