Forrest Gump came out in 1994. It earned 6 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Lead Actor - Tom Hanks and Best Director - Robert Zemeckis. Forrest Gump is a story of a simple man who lives an extraordinary life. Forrest meets many interesting people and is present for many events that shaped the world in the 60's through the 80's. He met presidents, entertainers, sports stars and just regular folks. The most important people to Forrest were the ones he loved. His Mama, Bubba, Lt. Dan and most importantly, the love of his life Jenny. Throughout the movie, Forrest tells his life story to some strangers he meets at a bus stop. Through flashbacks and special effects we see and experience his life through his story. Like petroypa70, Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies.
