6:00pm - 7:15pm
This is the ninth consecutive year in this annual series of Pi Day events. Come out and be part of the longest continuously running Pi Day geocaching event series in the world!
March 14. The date when it's most cool to be a geek. The date when irrationality is a most respected quality. The date when friends gather together for no other reason but to celebrate their most favorite transcendental number.
Pi Day is celebrated all over the world on 3/14, and students in some classes at the school where this event's CO teaches have a tradition of honoring Pi with a set of activities and challenges on March 14. Come and meet in the back room at the Perkins Family Restaurant in Westfall Plaza at the posted coordinates at 6:00pm for dinner. And of course, we'll be sure to get everyone together for the geekiest event photo you could imagine, and a post-event bonus surprise. It's not required to look like a geek to attend - alas, this event host can't help it - but the geekier the better for this occasion. Come and be part of our group and be ready to celebrate Pi Day as geocachers should.
Please help us help you by posting your "Will Attend" and the number in your party as early as possible - at least a week in advance. We want to make the occasion special for everyone, and we also want to let Perkins Family Restaurant know how many to expect to fit into their back room and how many they need to plan for serving us. Thanks!
