Geocache Description:

Hixon is a blink on Hwy 97 between Quesnel and Prince George.  I have placed this cache on the grounds of the community recreation site where the Fall Fair is held mid August.  Community spirit in this town is amazing and they do a great job on their 1 day fair including a parade that they close down the highway for.  They have all the regular events including a horse show, home arts and family events.  They have a camp site on the grounds and Naver Creek wraps itself around the grounds.  This is a small container, well camo'd and well hidden.  This is a CITO sight.  Don't leave any thing behind.  Also, don't place anything in the cache that has odour as bears have been known to visit.  There is a sign asking that you don't bring glass into the area.
