As fellow Beaches cacher Bouffe notes in the description for their cache at the opposite end of this park, Cassels Avenue Playground is a neighbourhood park that’s busy all seasons with locals enjoying a wide range of activities. It has arguably the best tobogganing hill in the area, in addition to a playground, splash pad, and plenty of space for two-legged and four-legged park users to frolick on the grass.
The park’s often muddy south end, a source of irritation for many residents, suggests that one of Toronto’s lost rivers might flow beneath Cassels Avenue Playground. The GZ for this cache is high and dry, but near the part of the park that gets muddiest in the spring. When you visit, put your ear to the ground – you just might hear the rushing sound of history beneath your feet, harkening back to an era long before the development of the Beaches neighbourhood.
Note: This is a Pokemon card trading cache. It will be maintained by CO and fnafking123. If you take some cards, please leave some as well...thank you!
