Bandit was my best friend and provided me with a never-ending source of fun, love and companionship. He loved to be outdoors, either to play, hunt or just explore and taught me to live in the moment, to literally stop and smell the flowers :)
I chose this area for the second cache as we would often continue our walk along the river after TJ and would come here almost every day in the late spring when the lilacs were in bloom. Bandit was more interested in the squirrels of course but I have many happy memories of us meandering through this area and resting on a bench, enjoying the sights, sounds and wonderful fragrance of the lilacs.
As I discovered geocaching after he died, he was never officially a geodog, but I know he is with me in spirit on my new adventures and that he welcomes you to discover his caches and enjoy the areas he did :)
