Cache is not at the published coordinates. You will have to solve a simple puzzle to locate the actual cache. Container is a largeish micro, only a log. BYOP. The 3 Difficulty is for the puzzle; finding the container once at GZ should not be overly challenging.

When you locate the cache, you will be very near the end of the runway of a grass field known as Nottingham Field. This airfield was not on the 1945 Washington Sectional Chart , nor on the the 1941, 1946 or 1949 USGS topo maps, or the 1964 Washington Sectional Chart. It is likely that the field, as well as a nearby encampment, was a temporary National Guard field. Pictures from 1941 show 6 to 7 single engine planes. Apparently the landing strip still existed in the late 1960s, as nearby residents of the period recall airplanes landing and taking off from this field. Interstate 95 would have been there at the time, but none of the buildings seen today existed. The grass strip likely extended from where Best Buy is located and ended near where this cache is located.

To find the location of the cache, solve the puzzle below.

How many ways can you spell MATHEMATICS by moving from one letter to an adjacent letter?

For final latitude, add your answer to the posted coords after the decimal. For longitude, subtract your answer from the posted coords after the decimal.

Feel free to contact a previous finder for a nudge.
