Shaw Park is a pleasant, well-travelled park in Clayton. Overall, this cache is in a suburban locale and rather similar to the Oak Knoll cache--the terrain is easy and the cache shouldn't be too hard to find, but it's a nice way to get out of the house for awhile. I've been concentrating on placing caches in the more central areas of St. Louis for the benefit of those who, like me, live either in/near the city or in the northern suburbs. It seems that the majority of caches are to the south or southwest of the city, but I suppose that's where many of the larger parks (especially state parks) also tend to congregate. ;-)
The cache has a white lid and is slightly larger than a sandwich container. As a result, small and/or flat items to be left as treasure will work the best.
