This cache is placed at a nice viewpoint of Mt. Index, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Skykomish Valley. The trail is a relatively new trail created in partnership between Snohomish Country Parks and Friends of Heybrook Ridge. Expect about a 3.5 mile round trip with under 800 feet of elevation gain. To get there, take US Highway 2 to the Index junction. Make the turn onto Index-Galena Road (left if eastbound) and continue for approximately 1 mile to a gated parking area on the right, just after passing under a railroad bridge.
