Sarina/Mackay Country Trails, SKITTLED Traditional Cache

Skittled,  yep thats something that can happen at any time along this road.  Beware while traveling these back roads, you will often come across a a tractor, cane bin, harvester, truck, car  even pushbikes.  It may seem like a quiet road but it far from it.  Plenty of parking  not too far away.

This cache was actually placed in  July 2014,  its still safe and dry. Amazingly,  not a signature on the log book either.  We checked it this afternoon and decide thats it time to release it to the world.  Enjoy

This is a Country Drive soaking up the scenery of the cane fields.  You won’t save any time in fact it will take longer, especially if your caching.  Sit back enjoy the ride. TAKE CARE as there can be seasonal traffic during May to December.  Make sure you check the tram lines as they cruise around day and night, 24hrs a day.  Cane tractors/machinery are large and gangly. They have little vision.  The roads are narrow and often one lane, Sometimes even dirt/gravel, Cane road trains also use these roads.
