Geocache Description:

Kapaleeshwarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. It is located in the busy Mylapore area of Chennai. It was built around the 7th century CE. The temple has numerous shrines, with those of Kapaleeswarar and Karpagambal being the most prominent. The temple complex houses many halls. The temple has six daily rituals at various times from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and four yearly festivals on its calendar.

This is one of our favorite places to visit, and a must-see if you're in Chennai. To log this virtual cache, post a photo of the temple with your GPSr, your caching party, or yourself in the foreground. You are not required to show your faces if you don't wish to do so.
