Please accept this invitation to one of the most beautiful places in all of Norway. An impressive view of Lysefjord fjord.

Preikestolen – Hyvlatonnå by its old name, is a gigantic cuboid rock formation extending from a vertical rock wall in height of 604 meters above the blue surface of Lysefjord in Rogaland, Norway. The flat viewpoint platform of Preikestolen provides an all-around view of the landscape. It is one of the most important and most visited natural locations in Norway. And by many scientists it is considered to be one of the great natural wonders of the whole Europe. Its dimensions are 25 by 25 meters. To successfully log the cache you need to take a photo of you (preferably) or your GPS on the viewpoint platform of Preikestolen, with the letter P (a sign made by your hand or any materials available around is enough).
This Virtual Cache is part of a limited release of Virtuals created between August 24, 2017 and August 24, 2018. Only 4,000 cache owners were given the opportunity to hide a Virtual Cache. Learn more about Virtual Rewards on the Geocaching Blog.
