Letterkenny Heritage #1 Traditional Cache

From mostly any place in Letterkenny you are able to see the tall spire of the cathedral. This part of the town has had a large impact on the lives of all the people who live in the area for many years. Even before the cathedral was constructed, mass was celebrated in the nearby hills as sentries kept a look-out for English soldiers that may have been coming nearby.

Please park at the Courtyard Car Park located at the listed coordinates. From here you may take the road from the market square up to the cathedral. 

The cache is a black magnetic micro. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pen) and please be mindful of muggles and please replace the cache to the location where you found it.

I created this series of caches to help the geocaching community of Letterkenny to grow and to introduce other geocachers to the history of Letterkenny. It is a great town and I hope these caches help people enjoy all of the different things it has to offer.

Information for the Letterkenny Heritage #5 cache:

Look at the Tourist Information sign. Take the third letter of the second word in the English paragraph under the heading St. Eunan's Cathedral and translate this letter into the number it is in the English alphabet. For example, if the letter was a n, its number would be 14. This number will then be put into the Letterkenny Heritage #5 cache's correct coordinates in slot C.
