Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden down the street from the estate.

Over Lynn Manor is a British Arts and Crafts style mansion, designed by the well-respected British Columbian architect Samuel Maclure, of Maclure and Fox.  Construction began in 1909 and was not completed until 1912, at a whopping cost of $75, 000.  The owner of the home was Mr. Charles Peter, a Scotsman, who was a prominent tea merchant and managed imports for the G. F. & G. Gait Company. After the passing of Mrs. Peter, Charles sold the house and moved to Ellensburg, Washington for the remainder of his life.  In 1930, the Catholic Sisters of Charity purchased the house and converted it into an all-girls boarding school until 1970, when the mansion was sold again.  The building was listed on Canada’s Register of Historic places in 2005/10/24 and is a very popular filming location.  Over Lynn takes its name from the fantastic view that can be seen over Lynn Valley, across the Inlet.

The cache itself is hidden down the street from the historic building.  The area is very popular in the warmer months.  The park nearby is open from 8 am to 11 pm.  There is room for some small trinkets .  Please hide the cache so that it is out of view. Best of luck!
