Welcome to the W. H. Abel Memorial Library. During the 1880s, these lots were the site of the Smith Livery Stable and Blacksmith. The library was developed in 1960 with monies bequeathed in the honor of W.H. Abel by his daughter. Merging with the Timberland Regional Library system in 1968, the building was remodeled in 1991 and is now one of 27 branches of the library system.
Here you can enjoy the Shakespeare garden, view local art, and even log your cache with free wireless internet access. Oh, and remember the old saying? Library voices please! No need to interact with staff. BYOP.
The cache can be accessed during open hours.
There’s plenty of street parking, a rack for your bike, a water dish for your pet, but please, no pets in the building. The cache has been placed with permission of the librarian.
Enjoy!!
Congratulations to k7da for the FTF!
