This is a camera cache located at Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown NH.
8/24/03: Cache has been updated with new stuff And new camers.
This cache is located within the game refuge of Bear Brook State Park, there is no need to bushwhack, the cache can be found by walking the trails. You can get to the cache from several trails, Broken Boulder Trail, Pitch Pine Trail, and other trails across from Hayes Field. The cache is in an ammo box and is well hidden.
Round trip distance to the cache is about 1 mile. Mountain bikes are permitted; trails are in good condition for younger children to walk or even strollers.
A note of caution, this game refuge is for archery hunting only, from September 15th to December 15th. For your safety, the use of hunter orange is recommended.
In the cache are:
Glow in the dark necklace, small stapler & staples, toy truck, tape measure, bungie cords, $100 bill eraser & gel pens.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE CAMERA: The first 2 photos were taken by us while hiding the cache. Feel free to take your own photos, please note the frame number in the logbook so I can match up the photo to the cacher’s.
