Come all ye mateys, and bring yer landlubbing geo-friends. Arrr! Attendance at an event on this date earns a special geocaching souvenir. There are 12 nearby caches along the park trails and 4 additional caches in the adjoining Cedar Downs neighborhood. Please log a Will Attend, as doughnuts and grog minus the rum will be provided. There will also be a raffle of some geocaching booty of interest. This is planned as a early morning and short event (45 min), so people can have the remainder of the day for geocaching (or those other pesky activities that interfere with geocaching).
The nearby trail system is pretty well maintained, but does have some small hills. Keep a weather eye open matey for potential mosquito activity and a few nettles. Since this is a neighborhood park area and parking is on the street, please be respectful of people's driveways and please do not block mailboxes.
