Tour of the North Star Mining Museum Wherigo Cache

The North Star Mining Museum is a part of the Nevada County Historical Society.  It is one of the ‘gems’ of Nevada County and exists not only to preserve and protect our area’s mining heritage,  but it also educates and informs people about the mining process, and the impact the industry had upon the humanity of the people who built the mines and those who toiled there during their operation.

This Whereigo tour will give you a few questions, including 4 on the inside, so you need to come when its open.

Its a pretty straight forward tour, and the docents can be very helpful.  It looks like this place will be a more challenging to do in the winter, so come during the summer time!
