Welcome to Longo Farm Open Space, home of Wind Hill Community Farm.
Please respect the rules of the property posted near the parking area and remain on the trails as much as you can. The fields here are leased out to farmers so DO NOT got into or across these fields!
Please note there is still some barbed wire throughout the open space, some marked with orange tape, some not, so be careful.
After you leave the parking lot, take the path to the left which leads you up a hill and through some fields. Enjoy the bluebirds but please do not disturb them. You take a right onto a trail which eventually has a red blaze. There may be a couple stream crossings here and in the summer, high grass is present in different areas. The yellow blazed trail will lead you close to the cache and only then do you need to veer off trail to it. You are looking for a duct taped pill bottle. GPS can be very bouncy here.
Survivors' cache was placed to honor all those who have survived cancer. Come to this quiet spot, listen to the birds and reflect.
