We have always thought this was a scenic spot as we drive along the HLR. We were surprised to find a boat launch here.
The Hanson Lake Road Community Trail "HRT CT" extends from Smeaton Sk (0km) to Creighton Sk (323km) just west of Flin Flon MB. It is NOT necessary to add to the trail if you find a cache along here - but given the many side roads, points of interest and scenic spots along the way we certainly encourage you to help make this an interesting drive with numerous reasons to take a break.
