Cache is located in the Glen Gary area of Cape Breton at an altitude of approximately 222 meters. The treck to the site is difficult, no path, and dense brush.
Take Trans Canada Highway 104 east to Port Hastings then route 4 to Port Hawkesbury, St Peters and Big Pond. Leave route 4 at Big Pond and drive south east then east approximately 10-11 kms. Then drive/walk approximately 1.5-2.0 kms to the north. Visually locate Sgurra Bhreac(conical pointed hill) to the north west. Take bearing and walk thru bush approximately .75 kms to large rock. Cache is nearby!
Fly/bug repellent is essential during summer!
