Lovely walk on a trail through conservation land following the western shore of Lake Maspenock. Trail was created and is maintained by the Hopkinton Area Land Trust.
Park on Scarlata Road at designated parking. Trailhead sign is just a few feet away (see TH coordinates). Trail first parallels left side of driveway, then veers to the left toward the lake. Pass an old well and fireplace. Cross a bridge over a small stream. Hike south along the shore of Lake Maspenock. Trail can be muddy at times. Pass several fishing spots along the way. Cache is a camo'd plastic container with room for small items. Please re-hide cache container with sticks and bark.
