Red Rover, Red Rover, Let Us Come Over Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AshlandCo.Parks: Checking on caches today. This pine at GZ has grown a lot since I first placed the cache. It is almost impossible for me to reach it, let alone remove the cap and replace it properly. I am archiving because it is hard/impossible to maintain. I didn't have scissors with me to cut it down today, so I will return in the future. Thanks to all those who attempted/found this.

Geocache Description:

One more cache for this season.  This has been a great park for caching.  The Rover pipeline will be laid/drilled through part of the park (northern edge) and surrounding fields.  I do not know the exact schedule and what inconvenience this may create for park visitors (and wildlife habitat).  Apparently, a "flagger" will try to keep one lane open near the entrance.

The lid is meant to be snug (to be waterproof).  Pull on a few places to loosen and remove.  When replacing the lid push down, especially on the ends to snap back in place.  There is a bright FTF bottle cap placed with the log.  Bring a pen.  WARNING: Ticks are plentiful in this part of the park.  I do not like to place caches when I am aware of this, but the cache was placed before I knew.  Take the necessary precautions and have someone check you.
