The Veteran's Memorial is a semi-circular design featuring a thirty foot pole displaying the American Flag and six twenty-five foot poles displaying flags for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and POWs. It is the only Veteran Memorial of its kind in Johnston County.
The first phase of the Princeton Veteran Memorial was dedicated on Memorial Day, May 25, 2009 after six years of Veteran's Day Celebration and fundraising events to make the memorial a reality.
Phase two of the Princeton Veteran Memorial, an engraved brick sidewalk honoring and remembering veterans from all branches of service, was unveiled and dedicated on November 7, 2009.
