I have adopted this cache from the late Woodbury Walker, who in turn adopted it from Stuey and The Hornet. Thank you all for your contribution to Geocaching over the years.
On the summit of Salcombe Hill overlooking the quaint seaside town of Sidmouth.
If you park at the NT car park at N50° 41.203, W3° 13.207 it is a level walk to the cache. If however you are really adventurous you can follow the South West Coast Path from Sidmouth town which makes it least 3 stars for terrain!
The walk from the car park gives some lovely views of the town and once you have found the cache there is a nice easy walk along the cliff top and back to the car park through the woods. There is also a memorial stone and view point to be found nearby.
There are a few nettles in spring/summer but lots of bracken so be prepared to get damp if it is raining! The cache is a white tupperware box.
