After the sterling efforts made over the last few months at Horsbere Reserve and Hucclecote Meadows, it's time to leave those areas to Nature (unless you would like a lovely walk around).
In case anyone is suffering CITO tree-hugging deprivation, Ranger Felicity has given us a new target -
The Netheridge Nature Reserve.
There are things here that we can do without disturbing any nesting birds etc.
No spades needed this time. Snips and secateurs would be useful and gloves if you prefer to have your own
Children and dogs welcome but need to be under parental control.
All the usual Health and Safety rules apply.
It is not easy to park very close to this area. There are one or two spaces in Sims Lane (wp1) but it is probably easier to park across the canal by the swing bridge (wp2) Or come by bus to wp3
It should be fairly light work and we understand there are quite a few to remove!
