Geocache Description:

There are only three of these Temples in Colorado. Sissadies and I decided to hide a cache at each of them. If the gates are open, you are free to walk the grounds, but please be respectful. Caches are available anytime, the grounds are closed Sunday and Monday.

This is an artist's rendition of the Temple. The flowers here are amazing, and are always rotating based on the season. Spring is my favorite time to check them out. As I said above, feel free to walk around the grounds. If you visit after dark, you can see this Temple brightly lit.

Please share any photos that you take in your log, we'd love to see them!

This is the first, of three, LDS Temples in Colorado. It is the 40th operating Temple in the world. It was Announced on March 31, 1982, had its Groundbreaking on May 19, 1984, an Open House from September 4 - 24, 1986, and was Dedicated October 24, 1986.

This Temple is built on 7.56 acres, has 27,006 square feet, and is 90 feet tall.

You can visit the other Temples by going to the other caches in this "series" of three caches:
Fort Collins: A Majestic Place
Denver: Another Majestic Place
Grand Junction: Yet Another Majestic Place
