Zittesje Gevelsjtein Multi-Cache

Wandel door het historisch centrum van Sittard en zoek met behulp van de waypoints en de plattegrond de gevelsteen die hoort bij de letter. Beantwoord de bijbehorende vraag en koppel de uitkomst aan de letter. Bereken daarna de coördinaten van de cache volgens de beneden gegeven formule. Maak hierbij gebruik van het invulformulier.

Op dagen dat er festiviteiten zijn, zoals carnaval, St. Joep markt (19 maart), kermissen, St. Rosafestival en de Oktoberfeesten, zijn sommige vragen moeilijker te beantwoorden. Lees voordat je begint ook vraag 33 eerst even ('X' is niet aanwezig).

In Sittard you can find dozens of gable stones. Hundreds of years ago many houses had such a gable stone that made it easy to find your destination. Nowadays we use street names and house numbers for this purpose, but gable stones are much more beautiful of course. Some are still original, but fortunately most of them are restored and returned in 1993 on occasion of the 750th anniversary of the city of Sittard.

Take a stroll through the historical centre of Sittard guided by the waypoints and find the gable stone that can be found near the letter marked on the city map. Answer the corresponding question and link the outcome to the letter. After having found all gable stones you can calculate the final coordinates of the cache using the formula given below, for which you can make use of the answer form.

Please mind that some questions can be difficult to answer on festive days, like carnival, St. Joseph market (March 19), fairs, St. Rosa festival and the Octoberfest. Please also read question 33 before starting off ('X' is missing).
