Hillgorilla and the Night Sky...Burleywhag
Another chance to meet up in some old ruins in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night.
I and others will be sleeping nearby.
You will have to be able to make your way to and from the location.
How about an event with a difference?
How many have been deep in the hills at midnight?
Well, this is your chance. This event is located in the middle of the hills.
The event will start at 11.30pm on Friday 17th March 2017, and will end at midnight on the same night, 30 mins later.
Come prepared as it is an upland area, you will need waterproofs, warm clothing, proper footwear, emergency rations, a torch and a shelter in-case the weather turns. An OS map, and the ability to use a compass would also be an idea to prevent you getting lost. You will need an ability to navigate yourself to and from the event site, and an awareness of your own safety and limitations. I would also recommend that you bring some food and a warm drink, it is March after all.
Please be aware this is a serious undertaking. Hopefully the sky will be clear and we will get a view of the night sky and also if anyone is interested I’ll point out a few stellar constellations
