Geocache Description:

To find this cache, you should be on The Wilderness Center’s Sugar Creek Trail- one of the 5 trails on the property. This cache is being placed to coordinate with The Wilderness Center’s annual winter Geocaching event, Six More Weeks of Winter – 2017.  Follow your gps until fairly close to the cache. NO need to trek too far from the trail. Cache has been started with an assortment of kid friendly swag.

The trails are open from dawn to dusk. If you think your visit may extend past 5pm, be sure to park in the lower parking lot by the road, as the upper gate gets locked after 5pm. No night caching is allowed, except for the evening of our annual winter event. The grounds are patrolled by the Stark County Sherriff’s deputies and local police for your security. Be careful during the winter months as these trails get very slippery and can be quite muddy after a rain or snowmelt – cache at your own risk. Pets are allowed on this (Sugar Creek) trail and the adjacent Fox Creek Trail, but are not allowed on the rest of the property. More trail information is located here http://www.wildernesscenter.org/trail-map-and-trailcasts/
