Geocache Description:

Series of caches on the other side of RT271 from the 8 Days of Hanukkah, following the gas line road. Be sure to wear orange!

The 12 Days of Christmas start on Christmas Day and last until the evening of the 5th January - also known as Twelfth Night. The 12 Days have been celebrated in Europe since before the Middle Ages and were a time of celebration. The song of the same name hints of such parties with pipers piping and lords a leaping. Although I am placing out these caches, you are responsible for finding your own Partridge In A Pear Tree, Two Turtle Doves, etc.

Like the 12Days of Christmas these will be of limited duration! This cache is located in Laurel Ridge State Park off Rt 271 west of Johnstown. The 13,625-acre Laurel Ridge State Park stretches along Laurel Mountain from the picturesque Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle, to the Conemaugh Gorge near Johnstown. This large park spans Cambria, Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland counties. The main feature of the park is the 70-mile Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail, which provides the setting for a semi-wilderness backpacking and day hiking experience. PLEASE REMEMBER TO CACHE IN AND TRASH OUT!

Be sure to bring your own pen and tweasers.   Please take care in opening(the tops) and hide well. High ground clearance recommended.
