WALT: Walt Longmire is the sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Longmire is reminiscent of lawmen from the Wild West era. He is a dogged and introspective man of a few words, unlike other old-school lawmen, Walt prefers to ask questions before shooting.. Like most old-school lawmen, Walt uses his instincts to solve crimes, and does not quit until he gets his man.
