This is an easy to find cache that is challenging to get into. The log book is behind two layers of locked containers. It will be up to the knowledge and skill of the cacher to find the combinations to open the locks. No short cuts folks. If you want the Find you need to sign the log, and that means opening the locks.
The first container is locked to prevent Muggles from gaining easy access. But for you cachers I'm going to make getting past this lock easy. The combination is the Hint. But that is where things start to get challenging. Inside the outer container you will find an Instruction Sheet, a Question Sheet, some Answer Sheets, and the second locked container. The log is inside the second container. To find the combination of the second lock you will need to answer 16 Popular Culture questions. The answers are all elements from the Periodic Table. You will then need to find the correct atomic symbol for your answers. Each elemental symbol has an atomic number. Next you will need to enter the atomic number into 4 equations and then do the math to calculate the answers. Each answer is one of four digits in the combination lock of the second container. The answers are in the same sequence they show up on the lock. Everything you need to find your answers is available in the cache. There are even Answer Sheets you can take to your car or one of the local coffee shops while you figure out your answers. Internet searches are allowed. Calling friends and family is encouraged. Once you think you have the combination you can return to the cache and try your luck. If you choose this option though, please leave the Instruction Sheet and Question Sheet in the cache. The Answer Sheets have what you need on them. I would like to extend a thank you to the property owners who have given permission for this site to be used for the cache.
