THE LEGEND OF BIG JIM continued
With the ceiling so low you could scrape your head
They could just see Jim in the tunnel ahead
Then a timber cracked, and their hearts beat fast
And everyone thought they had breathed their last, except Jim (Big Jim)
Through the dust and the smoke of this man-made hell
Walked a giant of a man that the cachers knew well
Grabbed a saggin' timber, gave out with a groan
And like a giant oak tree he just stood there alone, Big Jim (Big Jim)
To be continued...
