Although Abraham Lincoln may have been born in Kentucky and Illinois may claim to be the “Land of Lincoln,” it was the rolling hills of Southern Indiana about which Abe would one day say, “Here I grew up.”
When designing this GeoArt, several iconic Abe-related images were considered, including a log cabin or a beard. Ultimately, we settled on Abe’s signature top hat.
These caches will take you on a back roads tour of the farm lands of rural Spencer and Warrick counties. They are all intended to be easy finds in typical locations. Most containers are preforms that can be accessed easily from the side of the road. Generous hints have been provided.
