The 7th in the CO's "Go Take a Hike Series", this is a 5-stage multi-cache (including posted coordinates and final) that involves collecting information at each stage in order to move on to the next. All stages are "virtual" stages except the final. The estimated mileage from Stage 1 (posted coordinates) through all stages to the final and back to Stage 1 is about 2.5 miles. There are a few other caches along your route, and plenty of other caches nearby but off the route. Bring paper and pen or some other means of keeping track of information as you go and for minor computations. There will be several of these computations to do so be sure to take the time to do them carefully. Also, importantly, make sure you have the full descriptions of the waypoints below before you set out. Parking is available right near posted coordinates.
At Stage 1 (posted coordinates) you will see a wooden sign attached to a wooden fence near a trailhead.
A = the number of A’s you see on the sign
B = the number of R’s you see on the sign
Stage 2 is at:
13.(A+B+3)(B-1)(A+B)
53.(A+1)B(A-4)
The final cache is a pill bottle hidden approximately 30ft from a trail. As usual out here, be careful reaching around and under rocks. Happy hunting!
Congrats to PI and Studio Medical for the co-FTF!!!!
